SER/OpenSER Configuration Wizard

in OpenSER/Kamailio

On Feb 22nd, 2007 subscribers of the OpenSER users mailing list were informed that a SER/OpenSER Configuration generator is now available.

This is an excellent tool for those looking to quickly configure OpenSER v1.1.1 for their own VoIP Services. Currently his configuration generator supports basic routing, far-end NAT traversal using either rtpproxy or mediaproxy and advanced features like ENUM and peering for PSTN and other services.

Andreas stated that he intends to add support for OpenSER v1.2 in the future and would appreciate comments and/or suggestions.

For those that may not know, OpenSER is a very flexible and scaleable SIP Proxy, Registrar, Location Server, etc. When one combines OpenSER with Asterisk. one can create very powerful VoIP services for your home, enterprise or even start a VoIP Provider.
