Your Google AdWords Account Has Been Disabled
Like countless others, I have been publishing content on the internet, specifically with two primary intentions:
1) To provide helpful, valuable content to the reader
2) Generate some sort of revenue by selling ad space
With the new FTC guidelines, I am sure various businesses are scrambling to ensure their operations are in compliance. Lets hope the following is a temporary oversight by Google.
I just recently learned that my Google Adwords account has been disabled:
Here is the response I finally received — only after making repeated, pointed demands for more information.
I’ve researched why your account was disabled, and found that this action
was taken for the following reasons:o The URL(s) cited for a very poor-quality landing page experience is:
extremeacaiberry.como The account was disabled because this URL is: an affiliate bridge page
As you know, we are committed to making the AdWords experience safe and
effective for our users and our advertisers. We disabled your AdWords
account after a review of your landing page quality evaluations because we
believe that this kind of poor-quality site creates a seriously negative
or possibly harmful user experience. The decision to disable your AdWords account was not taken lightly, and we
appreciate your cooperation in this matter. In the meantime, you can find links to additional information about our

I promoted a CPA offer, which is not nor has ever been owned by myself, yet Google has completely taken away my ability to do business with Adwords.
No Warning….
No Notice…
Nothing…
In fact, the campaign in question was mostly likely ran sometime early in 2009, when the ‘diet’ search volumes are high. Also, that campaign only ran for perhaps a week, at the absolute max. It did not convert very well (if at all — I do not specifically recall), thus I stopped the campaign… Also, I stopped the promotion of Extreeme ACAI on my own and my quality scores were very high when the campaign was running. Google Adwords never once contacted me, prior to disabling my account.
I eventually stopped running all Adwords campaigns due to my [lack of] advertising budget for the remainder of 2009.
Over the years, I also used this same Adwords account also to promote my own legitimate ‘make money online’ e-books and videos that I have produced, the seasonal consumer products (affiliate based promotion) and not to mention the physical VoIP based products and services I used to sell, so there is no way Google Adwords can state the account was of zero value.
Despite all of my Adwords campaigns, the one time, very limited promotion of this single CPA offer caused my account to be completely disabled and what is worse:
We are writing to let you know that your Google AdWords account has been disabled due to one or more serious violations of our advertising policies related to Landing Page and Site Quality. As a result, your ads will no longer run through the Google AdWords system and we are unable to accept advertising from you in the future.
(Editor: emphases added)
I simply don’t get it… Since promoted someone else’s CPA offer, Google refuses to accept any future advertising from me? I wonder if my Google Adsense Revenue is in jeopardy now…
What Say You Google Adwords?
…more to come, as I have it…
