Cleanin’ Out My Closet
I am here to inform you, the reader, of a few facts that you are either unaware of or have been surreptitiously misled to believe otherwise.
Firstly, I feel I have wasted the past 8 years of my life.
After all of my blood, sweat and tears I have nothing legitimate to show for it. Sure, I am now skilled with the configuration and large-scale deployment of Asterisk and OpenSER, but what good is that when I can barely buy food, pay my car insurance or heaven forbid, take my wife out for dinner and a movie once in a while.
Making matters worse, I am scheduled to be held in “Contempt of Court” care of a legitimate NuFone debt. I have not been involved with NuFone for a while now due to circumstances which I will be documenting, in a multiple segment description.
Over the next few months, I am going to present a series of factual history lessons from my recent past entitled, “How Not To Do Business or What the Hell happened to NuFone?”
This series is going to start at the very beginning, from what led me to find Asterisk and get involved with the Asterisk community, to dealing with major contract disputes, to the $450,000 toll fraud, to finding and dealing with two separate Venture Capital companies and ultimately being forced to walk away from everything, simply because I could no longer trust others involved in the decision making process.
I will be holding nothing back.
I realize there are risks associated with divulging this information, as NuFone is still an operating entity (as far as I know.) However, as Jonathan Moothart (P40678) can attest to, I have less than zero assets! No real estate, No investments, No savings and an 11-year-old SUV.
Regardless, I consider this information apart of an editorial news piece.
Everything I publish will be factual and will be complimented by other founding members of NuFone, as they too have been directly affected by the actions and decisions of a few other non-founding members. I have and will make every attempt to verify all published information, not only to ensure the reader that what is stated here is fact, but to also ensure that the truth is told as reasonably as possible.
As of April 1st, I will be $1,000 past due on the ‘Stipulated Installment Pay Order’ which Allan Noorda, then CEO of NuFone Inc., facilitated and I am now being forced to pay out of my own pocket.
To clarify, the particular debt in question was not assigned to ‘NuFone Inc.’ based upon specific verbal promises that Allan Noorda, a person I met via the first Venture Capital company, made about the “strategy and synergy” for moving “NuFone” forward. Stupid me… However, I never agreed to be held personally responsible for this completely legitimate NuFone owed debt.
Details of exactly how Allan (and the few others) encouraged me to not assign this NuFone debt to a new “NuFone” company will be included as a portion of this series. I now understand this is a common venture capital ‘trick’ that gets used to make the books of a new ‘VC backed’ company look better to existing shareholders and/or future investors.
I intend to dispel any rumors, lies, fabrications and illegal activities that were actions by the hands of others and are now residually affecting myself personally.
Thank you for your time.
More truth to come!
